Camp Friedlander: Meet at the Trailblazer Shelter

Camp Michaels – Meet at Shelter House # 2 at the end of the parking lot.

Camp Michaels is located: KY 536/Mt. Zion exit (exit #178) off of I-75. Go West
on to KY 536. Continue on KY 536 for approximately 6.3 miles to the camp entrance on the right.

Registration: There are two options:
1. Visit www.danbeard.org , go to the Calendar and click on the event to register online
2. Mail the registration form to the Camping department, Dan Beard Council, 10078 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, Oh 45241

Additional Information: Lunch will be provided at both camps.

Please bring work gloves and a water bottle.  We also request that you bring shovels and/or lopping sheers if you have them available to you, but please be sure to have your name on them!

Please register by November 7, 2012 so we can plan for the supplies & food.

If your unit would like to camp at either camp for the weekend, you can do that! Contact the Achievement Center (513) 577-7700 to check availability of the campsites then mail in an Application for Camp Usage to reserve a campsite for free. When reserving a campsite, advise this is for Camp Conservation Day.  Campsites will not be reserved until the Application for Camp Usage is received at the Scout Achievement Center and approved.
