Who:
WOW is designed for first-year and second-year Webelos dens (fourth and fifth graders). We strongly encourage Webelos to come as a den, as they will camp together and participate as a den in events. This is a great way to build camaraderie within the den and practice teamwork and leadership. However, if a Scout wants to attend without his den, we are happy to make arrangements for that too.
Bear dens (third graders) that are about to crossover into Webelos are also welcome. Bear Scouts can camp with their leaders because this is a council family camp. Yes, you read that correctly! In most cases, Bears cannot camp except with a parent, but because WOW is a council family camp event, they can come with their den leaders if parents cannot attend. We recommend parents and leaders use good judgment when deciding if Bears will attend, as many of the activities involve advanced outdoor skills.
WOW is not designed for younger Cubs (Tigers and Wolves). The events will be too advanced for their age level and they would probably not have a good experience. For this reason, WOW is only open to Webelos I and II Scouts and Bears that are about to become Webelos.
Cost: Scouts – By Friday, April 26th = $12
After Friday, April 26th = $18
Adults – No Charge
Registration Ends: Friday, May 10,2013
Registration: There are 2 options:
